Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. This site never sees or stores your card details. When you sponsor a plant, Stripe collects your name, email address, and the dedication text you write, and passes that information to us so the plant can be planted.
The dedication text you write is displayed publicly on the plant's plaque in the garden, visible to anyone who visits the site and hovers over that plant. Please don't include anything in a dedication that you wouldn't want a stranger to read.
Because each sponsorship is personalised and planted specifically for you, we don't offer refunds once a dedication has been planted in the garden, except where something has genuinely gone wrong on our end — a duplicate charge, a technical error, or a dedication planted incorrectly. If that happens, message @a.plantaday on Instagram and it will be sorted out.
This policy doesn't limit any consumer guarantee you're entitled to under Australian Consumer Law, which applies regardless of anything written here.
